Flights The airport of Caracas, Maiquetia, is linked to principal European cities by the airlines Alitalia, Air France, Iberia, KLM, Tap Conviasa and Luftansa. To reach Los Roques one needs to take a domestic flight from either Caracas or Margarita ( airport of Porlamar). Aereotuy, Chapi air, Jomicol, Albatros and Makoro are the Venezuelan airlines that fly to Los Roques. The airport at Gran Roque does not have lighting, so planes cannot land during hours of darkness.
